About Project Stedfast…
With the 125th anniversary of The Boys’ Brigade approaching in 2008, the 51st and 3 other local companies, 5th Livingston, 56th Edinburgh and 1st Loanhead companies, decided to celebrate the event by undertaking a international project that reached outward.
The project is to help the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade Companies at Kerarapon Parish Church, Kenya to establish a school. The initial target of the project was £33,629.00 or 4,250,000 ksh (Kenya Shillings), however due to the incredible fundraising success we have added an extension to the project to have a facility for disabled children to be taught within mainstream education.
